Her upcoming training will include her coach Francisco Roig, as they have decided to continue collaborating in 2026.

She underwent blood pressure monitoring in her opening round against Ann Li in Wuhan and withdrew when losing 6-1 4-1 on a very muggy occasion.

Another medical visit was necessary a visit from the doctor at the Ningbo Open this week, where she was defeated in three sets to Chinese wildcard Zhu Lin in the first round.

Raducanu was also moving far from freely in the deciding set versus Zhu because of a lower back issue that has affected her at times this year.

Those results followed a positive campaign, in which she climbed into the world's top 30 for the first time for the first time since 2022, finished with a trio of defeats.

She held three match points prior to falling to Jessica Pegula in the third stage in last month's Beijing event.

The player achieved twenty-eight matches during 2025 and advanced to the semis in Washington, but the highlight of her season was at the Miami event in March.

The British number one advanced to the quarters of a premier WTA event, defeating eighth seed Emma Navarro on the way prior to a loss in a three-set match to the world number four Pegula.

She was coached by Mark Petchey as coach from Miami until Wimbledon, with Roig assuming the role ahead of the US Open.

The original arrangement with the ex-coach of Rafael Nadal was until the end of the season but the collaboration persists, with planned training sessions for the end of the year.

Raducanu told that a three-day test period with Roig after Wimbledon was like a "secret mission" as they aimed to maintain secrecy.

She came very close to defeating top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka at their initial event as a team in Cincinnati in August.

The coach also accompanied Raducanu in the New York tournament, where she made the third stage then falling to 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina.
