White House Decries 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Images Released

Democratic lawmakers have released a new tranche of what they labeled "disturbing" photographs from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 photographs—some of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 unveiled later on Friday constitute a minuscule portion of the almost 100,000 images released to the House investigative panel, which is looking into the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The shamed investor was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking charges.

Prominent Personalities in the Images

Included in the high-profile individuals visible in the opening set are well-known figures featuring movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are obscured.

White House Response

The White House reacted to the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the pictures for partisan aims and to "seek to establish a false account."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a White House spokesperson remarked, asserting that "the Trump administration has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by frequently urging openness, releasing numerous documents of papers, and demanding additional probes into Epstein's liberal connections."

Congressional Democrat Statement

The photos were disclosed without context, but according to a California Democrat and senior member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's associations with affluent people.

"Now is the occasion to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he declared in a comment.

The release of these materials comes as the oversight committee proceeding with its investigation into the affair.
